Accessibility Statement

Compliance Status

root2Green is committed to making its marketing website accessible in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. Known limitations are documented below.

Scope

This statement applies to the root2Green marketing website at root2green.com, including all public-facing pages such as the landing page, about page, legal pages, and free tools.

Technical Standards

This website aims to conform to the following standards:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative
  • EN 301 549 v3.2.1 — European harmonised standard for ICT accessibility requirements

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. The following known issues are being actively addressed:

  • Third-party embeds: Some third-party content (e.g., external brand logos fetched from CDNs) may not meet all accessibility requirements. We provide appropriate alternative text where possible.
  • Complex data tables: The pricing comparison table on the landing page may be difficult to navigate with screen readers on mobile viewports. We recommend using a desktop viewport for the best experience.

Assessment Method

root2Green assesses the accessibility of this website through the following methods:

  • Automated testing: Continuous integration using axe-core against WCAG 2.1 AA rules on all public pages
  • Manual testing: Keyboard navigation and screen reader testing (VoiceOver on macOS) during development
  • Design review: Colour contrast verification and focus indicator checks during UI reviews
